His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses that the Brunei Darussalam-Australia Comprehensive Partnership ensured the continuity of friendship and ties between both countries. His Majesty stated that energy and food security as important areas to also enhance economic growth.

The monarch in a titah also highlighted Brunei Darussalam and Australia's close ties in trade, defence, education and people-to-people exchanges. His Majesty made the titah during the Bilateral Meeting between The Honourable Prime Minister of Australia who was in Brunei Darussalam for a two-day Working Visit from 14th to 15th of April 2026. Earlier, His Majesty received in audience The Honourable Anthony Albenese MP, Prime Minister of Australia. The Audience Ceremony took place at Cheradi Laila Kenchana, Istana Nurul Iman.

Also in attendance were members of the Royal Family. Also present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports as Minister-in-attendance as well as the official delegation of Australia.
